Sally Erickson, Website Designer & Developer
Does that sound strange? Explorer?
That’s what I do best, and I’ve used that ability, both exploring many of my own installations of WordPress, but also to discover what’s good and what’s bad on yours .
There are so many WordPress users, like you, who jump in to get your website and your new idea up and running, but don’t give the theme selection or the menu page names too much thought. Does the website work? Yes it does. Congrats! Isn’t WordPress fun? Now it’s time to step back and see what you have….
First, let me introduce myself.
Hi! I’m Sally Erickson, head of Erickson Creative , a graphic design and website business started in 1986 in Sunriver, Oregon. I am a web designer and developer and have studied and learned, practiced and explained, adopted and refined design methods, every day since. I’m a learning nut! Something new? I’m on it.
Years of clients, projects, and websites required my learning many Internet technologies – HTML, CSS, Javascript and Flash among all the video and audio and new design tools. Luckily I catch on very quickly.
I follow the web trends and how to use them effectively. I’ve mastered the WordPress CMS and now use the platform for everything. I’ve followed the blogging trend and do it myself – at least once a week – while also improving my writing techniques for the web. I’ve taken on social media – Twitter, Facebook, Linked In, Google+, and YouTube. Then there are Tumblr and StumbleUpon and Pinterest. Makes for very challenging work and I love it.
